We currently have two programs “GraceScapes” & Growing with Grace” which are community garden and land beautification initiatives, focused on keep our neighborhoods and green space clean on the Chicago South/East-Side.

Project Goals:

1.

Community beautification by turning vacant land plots, often filled with debris and rubbish, to beautiful gardens of flowers and produce crops.

2.

GraceScapes serves as an affordable to no cost service for local residents, especially seniors who can no longer keep up with the landscaping up keep for their homes, helping them to save on fines and tickets as well as keeping walk and pathways clear.

3.

Lastly, awareness to develop cleaner environments and community organizing. Plants in our gardens add oxygen to the air and help reduce air pollution.
